Food-Safe Lubrication

U.S.D.A. rated H-1 lubricants are acceptable for INCIDENTAL CONTACT.
These lubricants are acceptable for use in official establishments operating under the Federal meat and poultry products inspection program. They may also be used as a release agent on gaskets or seals of tank closures. The amount used should be the minimum required to accomplish the desired technical effect on the equipment.

Greases and gels minimize friction and wear on bearings, gears, conveyor track guides, and other equipment in close proximity to food.

Spray on Lubricants: Use spray-on lubricants for pistons, pump seals, and other applications involving high tolerance moving parts. Use with slides, rollers and chains where lubricant penetration is critical.
